Nick Sochan and Britney DiTocco began collaborating in 2015 when they came together to record a few songs for a rock EP. Since then, the creative duo has become inseparable, working together on projects like Augystine, Britney DiTocco, and their personal favorite project, an a capella arrangement of Silent Night featuring a microtonal modulation, all while maintaining a number of personal clients. The pair founded Sound Central Studio in 2022 to create a place where musicians can turn their creative visions into high quality productions for a fraction of industry standard pricing. They remain on the cutting edge of new technologies like Dolby Atmos, and always keep up with industry trends to ensure that any work produced here can stand on its own within the current music scene. As artists, they understand the numerous steps that go into the creative process, and hope to help other artists release music they are not only proud of, but obsessed with!
Nick Sochan is a music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He entered the music industry over thirteen years ago when his intellectual curiosity and passion for thought provoking music led him to begin teaching himself both guitar and music production. Since then, Nick has produced songs for artists like Wayne Avenue, Britney DiTocco and Augystine, recorded and been featured on tracks by Casket D., Justus Hajas and more. He toured the U.S. as a guitarist for Reckless Serenade, and between his many projects has opened for acts like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Dee Snider, Leslie West, and Sebastian Bach. As a music educator with a masters degree in music education, he spends his free time creating educational content for Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube. He specializes in creative music production, writing ear catching toplining, and crafting full bodied mixes while still maintaining the clarity of individual parts.
Britney DiTocco is a vocalist, songwriter, producer, audio engineer and arranger with over eight years of experience in the music industry. Inspired by artists like My Chemical Romance, No Doubt, and the Beatles, Britney began writing music in middle school and hasn’t stopped since. She has written music for multiple projects, including rock band, Augystine and her solo music. Performing around the east coast, she has opened for acts like Trapt, Buckcherry and more. She spent time from 2016-2020 pursuing her Bachelors of Music at the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music where she studied songwriting, arranging, and music production. She is currently pursuing her masters in Studio Composition at her alma mater. Britney specializes in writing compelling, story driven lyrics, creating catchy vocal melodies, vocal arranging, and creating dynamic arrangements for songs.
